QuestionHello and thank you for the oportunity to ask you this questions.
I have a almost 5 year boy and a seven month gril, bouth C-sections and I am pregnant again. On my gril's birth dr. told me that I had a small uterine rupture and my uterus was very very thin so i shouldn't have more children.
I had my only period since I give birth to my daughter on 15 july .on 15 august I had a negative pregnaccy test but no cicle , so I repeted the test afther 2 weeks and it wah positive . I went to doctor and the CRL was 9 mm on 18 sept , so I think that I didn't became pregnant on 29 july (presumed fertilization), but later on 10 aug ???
my question is if it is a realy big risc for this pregnancy (i considere to keep the child anyway) to uterine rupture and whwn I became pregnant , on 29 july or 10 aug ?
thank you very much, I look forward for your answer.
AnswerHi Anca,
In the most severe form of uterine rupture, where the laceration is large or cuts across the uterine blood vessels, you may hemorrhage and require a blood transfusion, your uterus may not be repairable and must be surgically removed (hysterectomy), the baby may not survive the lack of oxygen. A 9mm fetus is usually around 6 weeks gestation therefore you most likely conceived on August 10th.
