I understand there should not be hemoglobin in urine. My recent u/a revealed just that measuring 2+.
What would be reasons why it's there?

I assume your doctor will have you provide another urine sample and repeat the test. I wouldn't worry about the results right now. It might be something, or it could be nothing at all.
