Question: Hi my name is Brittany. I am at Valley Community School. I want to ask you questions about Health Profession.I want to ask because I am doing a project in school.
1)What education do you need to have? 4 years of undergraduate, 4 years of med school, year (at least) of post graduate training. Yearly continuing medical education credits. Always learning, reading, etc.
2)What is the salary? anywhere between $130,000 to $240,000
3)How many hours do you work? 60 hour weeks usually.
4)Why did you pick this job? Love of medicine, science and the ability to help people. It also provides adequate income to do the things I like.
5)How did you know that you wanted this job? Experiences within my highschool and college years.
6) What do you wear to work? Since I do ER medicine, I usually only wear SCRUBS.
7)Where do you work? I work out of a Hospital's Emergency Room or Department.
8)How many years of schooling does it talk? total after highschool 8 year with one year of post graduate to obtain a medical license. Residence and Fellowship programs range from 2 to 5 additional years.
