Zoloft and Erectile Dysfunction: Managing Side Effects

I have been taking 100 mg of Zoloft  for about 1 month and I am no longer able achieve an erection. The medicine is working but I am not willing to lose my sex life with my wife. Any suggestions

I also sweat and have the shakes (not bad).

That is a common side effect from the Zoloft.  Your choices are to wean the Zoloft down... stopping abruptly is not dangerous, but is uncomfortable... makes people feel a little weird and dizzy.

Or, another choice is to add in Welbutrin... sometimes that can offset those side effects.  

Good luck with it.....  talk to your physician about it and see what they say... this is the way I usually manage those side effects.
