How Muscles Work: From Load to Fatigue – A Clear Guide

Question
Hello

I am trying to learn about how muscles work. I found a lot of answers on the internet and in magazines on weightlifting, but there is two things I cannot seem to find answers on. I am writing to you to ask if you perhaps know of, or read, the answers somewhere.

When I pick up something heavy, and hold it. How long before the muscles in my arms get tired?. The magazines call this fatiqued. They seem to say to the point where the muscle cells are just "worn out." They say it happens after 10 seconds. They go on to say that is why my arms start to shake after a number of seconds. The muscles are "taking a break," tightening up again, taking another break, tightening up again, to hold the weight.
Is 10 seconds correct? My muscles are worn out?

My second question is about muscle strength. Aparently muscle size is not the same as muscle strength. That is; I saw a guy walk on his hands. But he had arms that were not any bigger than most guys. So that would mean he has strong arm muscles. I thought BIG muscles is the same as strong muscles. Can people be strong, but not big?

I really appreciate you answering and helping me. Muscles are very complicated and very confusing.

Answer
Not true, muscles shake when you are out of condition and that improves over time with good nutrition and nutrients like a B-100 three times a day and omega-3 fish oil 1000mg four times a day and magnesium oxide 250mg four times a day and calcium carbonate 500mg with vit C twice a day IF OK WITH YOUR DOCTORS.
