QuestionI have recently had a i wouldnt say burning nor itching, more just irritating feeling in my vaginal area i think it feels like a yeast infection so i got some monistat, but then curiously some one told me i might have a uti so i got those azo strips and it came up positive,,, what should i do and what do you recomend

the general term urinary tract infection is often used to describe infections that begin in the bladder[cystitis],kidney[pyelonephritis]or urethra[urethritis].
although an infection is uncomfortable and annmoying it isnt a serious disease.
treatment;
try flooding your bladder-drink two eight ounce glasses of water. then dissolve one teaspoonn baking soda in four ounces water and drink that. then, for the next six to eight hours drink 8ounces of water every hour. consult your doctor if this doesnt help,and your symptoms are not relieved.
-dont feed it-this foods can aggravate-alcohol,coffee,tea,cranberry juice,chocolate,carbonated beverages,all citrus,spicy foods.
-make sure you clean your vagina area,a few times a day. keeping it dry;
-wear cotton under wear.will help as well;
