Understanding Random Shivers: Causes and When to Worry

Hi my name is Diana and I'm 24 years old, for many years I've been having random shivering. I would like to know if that means something. Its the kind of shivering that you feel when something scares you and it makes you lift your shoulders. It just last a second, it could happen at least once a day and it really doesn't bother me but I don't know if that's normal or is it something that I have to take care of. I don't see that as representing any diseases.. I always screen for anemia and thyroid problems... I assume you don't take narcotic pain meds, sometimes mild withdrawal from those can cause those symptoms, otherwise, I am not sure what that represents...
