Persistent Right-Sided Genital Pain After Liver Transplant: Seeking Medical Advice
QuestionHi I am 24 years old I am a female I had a liver transant at the age of 11 done great never any problems I am needing help with.a issue and was wondering if you could help or offer any advice. Every sence I became sexually active at 16 I have experienced this problem I get a sharp stabbing I would describe it as the penis hitting something and it feels like a knife stabbing whatever it is. But the thing is is it is only on my right side it shoots up like from my lowish right side to almost where my leg and pelvis meet and this only happens when I have sex in the doggy style positon or any deep penetration. If he was to try and push up in me or puts a leg on he's shoulder.anything like that .. I can have sex like everyone else and my periods are always normal and I do not have any female or pelvic pain any other time also I have seen gyns sence I became sexually active I have paps and pelvic exams once a year and they have always been normal iv have told countless gyns about this problem and because everything seems normal it kinda gets dismissed I am about to go to one more. Gyn but I am doing my own research to try and get an ideah I did have a regular kind of ultrasound about a week ago and all it showed was a little free fluid on my left side but did not show anything on my right. So I'm kinda at a loss here. I did wanna ask would it be possible for my appendix to get hit during those sex positions? Or is it possible I could have some pelvic floor trigger points that are being hit? I have lived with this sence I was 16 so oviously its really nothing seriously wrong. Thanks
Answerone problem is that the liver surgery is massive, and you may have some scar tissue or a neuroma.... a nerve that was cut and healed but is hypersensitive. I don't know if I have any great treatment except to find what works for you sexually....... I don't think you are gonna find some easy fix to this..... sorry...
