Multivitamins for Type 2 Diabetes: Centrum Silver & Heavy Metals

Hi,

My mother is law is 55 years old and insulin dependent type 2 diabetic. Is it ok if she take one pill daily of Centrum Silver Women 50+?

YES and NO.... Yest to a multivitamin, with some trace elements being beneficial for diabetics.  NO to Centrum products as they contain as trace elements Tin, Silica and Nickle.  All of these I have mentioned are considered heavy metal toxins, as they have no biologic  function in humans.  I would suggest a very good well balanced and pharmaceutical grade daily vitamin.  You can look for quality products on web site such as www.EmersonEcologics.com
