Heavy Bleeding & Clots: Urgent Concerns - Seeking Medical Advice

Hi my name is Cindy. I have been in the er twice in the last 5 days. I have been bleeding for 19 days.it is not just normal blood. It looks like my liver is coming out.Big clots. I am 40,and have always had really heavy periods.(nothing like this though) They put me on norethindrone. I am seing a gyn on Monday. I have experienced a little discomfort while making love.(not that I have even thought of that lately) It usually is right before my period,so I always contributied it to that. My husband and i are done having kids.i don't ever want to go through this again. I am so exausted. any advice? What is the quickest way the gyn can find out if this is what I have? GOOD THING YOU HAVE AN APPT MONDAY...I STARTED THAT SAME BEHAVIOR AT THE AGE OF 38 OR SO...THE BLEEDING WOULD START AND STOP SEVERAL TIMES OVER MANY MONTHS WITH EXTREMELY HEAVY BLEEDING. MY GYNO THOUGHT I WAS HEMMORAGING...WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE CLOSELY TIED WITH ENDO. MY GYNO HAD ME IN FOR A BIOPSY. THE PROCEDURE HE DID IS PAINLESS, YOU ARE PLACED UNDER A LOCAL AND YOUR ABDOMEN IS INFLATED WITH A GAS THAT OPENS YOUR ORGANS AREA TO BETTER OBSERVE WHAT IS GOING ONE. HE FOUND SEVERAL NODLUES AND CYSTS THAT CAUSED THE HEAVY, LONG PERIOD BLEEDING AND REMOVED THEM. THEY WERE TESTED AND FOUND TO BE NEGATIVE. MY BLEEDING DID STOP. THIS PROCEDURE WAS SORT OF A D&C IN CLEANING OUT PARTS OF MY UTERUS. I NEVER HAD THE BLEEDING AGAIN.ENDO CAN CREATE THESE DEPOSITS OR GROWTHS FROM TIME TO TIME IN ORGANS...HOPEFULLY YOUR GYNO CAN PIN POINT WHAT IS GOING WRONG...THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN, IS THAT THE BLEEDING CANNOT BE STOPPED FOR ONE REASON OR THE OTHER AND A HYSTERECTOMY IS PERFORMED.
