Core Biopsy Results: Understanding Benign Findings & Next Steps

Question
Just one more thing- when the nurse called and told me the results- she made the comment that the pathologist was wondering why a biopsy was done in the first place. It made feel like maybe I shouldn't have it done. But , I am just relieved it was done and it was benign.
IS there any special precautions I should take in the future as far as screening or whatever?
Thanks!

-----Question-----
As you may recall, I have written several times about the shadowing present on my breast u/s. I saw the surgeon again this morning and he did another u/s. The shadowing was still there and he said he could not ignore it and that it was not a normal finding. So, he did  a core biopsy. He said it could be fibrocystic but he didn't know. I should have the results on Monday.
Thanks for all your help and patience in answering my questions . I will let you know when I receive my results.
Again, you have been a lifeline during all of this. Thanks!

Very good! I'm happy it has finally been done! I'm only wondering why it had to take such a long time?! It could amd should have been done immediately! Why should you have to wait needlessly? Yes, please do! You are welcome! Thanks! Take care & Good luck!

-----Answer-----
I'm very happy to hear that! Congratulations! Tell you dr. that you NEVER want to wait like this again, EVER! If at any time in the future there is any uncertainty you want a needle biopsy straight away! Yesterday a friend of mine in India (!) asked me about a thin needle aspiration biopsy result on a relative of his there! If they can do it that easily there why not in the USA?! And they do it regularly at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. If they do it routinely there why not elsewhere?! My old boss Professor Franzén who I told you about also invented an instrument for doing it for prostate tests. That instrument construction used by urologists the world over is still called the Franzén instrument. (He is still alive by the way though in his late 80-ies).

Answer
Actually a very stupid comment both by the nurse and by the pathologist! Why should you not have the right to KNOW if anything is wrong or not - and to know it as quickly as possible?! No not really, just follow the advice I gave you in my previous writing! And please read the web site I have just sent you the web address of! Very informative. And I knew all the guys in the Karolinska group, Franzén,Zajicek, Esposti & Löwhagen - though several of them are dead now.
