Post-Mastectomy Breast Redness: Understanding Cellulitis & Mastitis

Two months ago, I had surgery for stage two-a, grade three, breast cancer...partial mastectomy...now in chemo.  Last week, I had reddening of breast which oncologist says is "cellulitis mastititis." After a round of Keflex, some pinkness remains. Could this have been from the surgery?  Would you recommend anything further? THank you.

It is probably a surgery complication which is not uncommon! An infection/inflammation. It is probably too optimistic to expect all redness to disappear immediately. Let your doctor check it. If your doctor is satisfied then most probably it is OK.
