Early Period After Birth Control Change: What to Do?

I have been on birth control for a year and half.  I switched from sprintec to yasmin about 8 months ago.  For the past 2 months, i got my period for 7 days heavy a week early. Should i take the placebos during this or keep taking the regular active pills?

I'm not sure what to tell you in this case. Since it has happened for two months now, I think the best thing you can do is check with your Dr. They will be able to determine if maybe these pills just are not working for you, and if you need to switch. They may also recommend you take a month off, and start them again after your next period, in an effort to regulate it.

I wish I could be of more help, but I think following up with your Dr. is your best bet.
