Understanding Abortion Clinic Legalities & Reporting Concerns
QuestionI am 25, pro-life with two children and one on the way. first, you have a choice, its called abstinance or birth control. my question. is it legal for me to call a clinic posing as an underage girl or another situation that would be illegal for the clinic to perform the abortion. and report the legal action to authorities. or could i even go in the clinic(i am pregnant) and see if they go through the procedures legally. (procedures leading up to the act) ?
AnswerBefore I noticed the subject line of your question, I was reading through the interesting question you have sent and was thinking that it sounds a bit like entrapment.
I do not have a background in legal studies, other than a little business law, so I cannot say for sure what could/would be done of a legal nature if you were to go through with what you suggested. I won't advise you, but I liked the 2nd suggestion of yours better. That way you could personally see what would be asked, but then morally I can't condone misrepresenting oneself. You might set up an appointment with the clinic and let them know you are concerned and would not get argumentative, but just need to know what the women involved are being asked and are going through. I doubt you would be influenced. If somehow you go through with a plan and do find anything improper, by all means report it.
Best wishes.
