Missouri Abortion and Miscarriage Death Certificates: What You Need to Know

We were discussing death certificates in our Medical Law %26 Ethics class and the question came up about abortions and no answer was yet given. So, I researched on the internet and couldn't find an answer either. In the state of Missouri, are you issued a death certificate if you have an abortion or miscarriage? Thank you

I believe there's a law in Missouri that allows for a "Certification of Stillbirth", which if requested provides a certificate for the stillborn, but it also explicitly states that it is not proof of live birth. So you will not be getting a death certificate for a miscarriage, from what the information I can find tells me.

And as far as death certificates for abortion-you will not be issued one. It's been discussed, but has not yet been implemented.
