QuestionHi, i started taking microgynon birth control pill three days ago, on the first day of my period. I have decided I don't want to take the pill anymore. Will this cause any problems like random bleeding or spotting after my period? Will appreciate your reply. Thank you.

I think you are wise to discontinue taking this drug. There are just too many problems it can cause. I wish I had never taken any contraceptives.

It seems reasonable to me that you might have some random bleeding or spotting. But I can't predict how your body will react in particular. So be prepared for awhile.
One more thing. It is best to abstain from sex until your periods settle down. Once they have, you can learn to tell when you are fertile, provided you don't take any more hormones. You must chart faithfully. For more information, please go here:
