Balziva (Beyaz) Withdrawal Symptoms: Bloating, Headaches & Mood Changes

Question
I just stopped taking Balziva birth conrol pills about 2 weeks ago after having been on it for 5 years, and have noticed that now, seemingly out of the blue, I feel bloated and gassy, have headaches, am tired and have become extremely depressed, anxious and agitated at the smallest of things. I am single and have not been sexually active for over a year so I no I am not pregnant, and am not taking any other meds nor have any other medical conditions(at least none that any doctor including my OB/GYN has informed me of) that would cause something like this to happen. So I'm wondering: Is this a normal occurence? Is there actually a birth control withdrawal syndrome of sorts and is what I'm experiencing now consistent with what usually happens? And if so, how long (on a typical basis)should I expect this to last?  It is certainly not compfortable. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi T,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so you do need to see your own physician about this. Yes, there are effects that happen if you go off the pill. It takes some time to get back to normal. I'm glad you are going off the pill since you are not sexually active.
I do wonder what will happen so email me at DWooley97@yahoo.com and keep in touch!
