Do people have to sign an agreement authorizing massage therapist to touch their bodies? If yes, where can I find one copy? Thanks

Hi Marcus,

Yes you do need a therapy consent form and it's usually in the form of a contract. It basically states that you understand that the therapist is not a dr. and that you have the poer to stop treatment at any time. The therapist can refer you to your doctor or stop treatment at any time for either their safety or yours. You can either make up your own form and get it approved by a lawyer or your association will have them as well.
