Here's how it's usually applied:
1. Clean and prepare your nails: Remove any old polish and clean your nails thoroughly.
2. Apply the whitener: Most nail whiteners come in the form of a pencil or a polish. If using a pencil, dampen the tip slightly and apply it under the free edge of your nails, following the natural curve. If using a polish, carefully paint it onto the underside of your nail tips.
3. Allow to dry: Let the whitener dry completely.
4. Apply a top coat: Apply a clear or sheer pink/nude top coat over the entire nail (including the whitened tips) to seal and protect the manicure. This will also create a smoother, more natural-looking finish.
Important Note: Be careful not to get the whitener on the skin around your nails, as it can sometimes stain. If you do, wipe it off immediately with a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover.
