QuestionDear Liza,
Hi my name is Leslie. I have two infected toenails on my left foot, and very rough skin on the bottom on my left foot as well. However on my right foot, my skin on the bottom of my foot is so soft and there are no infected toenails. How can i get rid of the infected toenails? and what is causing the rough skin on my left foot only and not the other? How can i get rid of the rough skin?
Thank you,
Leslie
Answerhi leslie
sorry for delay, i have been competing in birminham since sat.
it sounds like u may have a variety of athletes foot. this is a fungal infection.
the best thing will b for a doctor to diagnose it 4 u, but to put your mind at rest, there are many treatments available to buy at the chemist, once you have confirmed the diagnosis.
it is quite common for only 1 foot to b affected.
the toenails will possibly need the attention of a podiatrist/ chiropodist.
the main thing is to keep your feet clean, dry and cool as fungal infections thrive on warm, dark, damp conditions, so avoid slippers.
hope this helps
