Dark Circles and Sunken Eyes: Causes & Natural Remedies

Question
my sister and i have dark and sunken eyes because of sleeping late. she's 19 and i'm 18. school has kept us up late at night. can you recommend any remedies to address our problem? we don't have that typical puffy eyebags. ours are sunken and dark. only when we smile do we see eyebags form and fold up under our eyes. my sister doesn't smile in pictures because she hates that the eyebags show. one of her friends even told her (absolute exact words) "wow, you have 2 eyebags in each eye! that's both amazing and pitiful. get help, girl!" we have tried those cooling eye packs at night.. didn't work. does the tea bag procedure work? i want me and my sister to be able to smile from ear to ear again without the horrors of multiple eyebags

Answer
Hello Justin!!

How are you and your sister doing?? I would love to hear from you and see how you are.
Look forward to hearing from you and hope you are well and smiling! :)

Hello Justin!

I understand this subject all too well. I suffer from dark circles so it will be my pleasure to help you and your sister!

First of all, you have to get some good night rest. Sounds simple but from reading your question it sounds as though you and your sister are stressed from school work and it's not allowing you to sleep? If so, here are some remedies.
- Try to go to sleep with no worries. Make sure your bedroom is a peace haven, no TV or radio, no lights. Surround your area with lavender ( it's calming )
- To relieve stress and bring circulation to your eye area/ skin - Try yoga or any form of exercise.
- Eat whole foods (all colors of vegetables, fruits and fish such as salmon/ sardines which has DMAE- (repairs cell damage)
- Avoid salt ( it draws moisture away from your skin )and drink up to 8 glasses of water daily ( the elixir of life )
Loss of water causes dehydration, lowered energy, reduced alertness, affects vital organs.
This is also why your eyebags are so pronounced.
-Drink green or white tea daily. You can also apply green tea bags to your eyes after tea bag is used.
-dip cotton balls in cold water and apply to closed eyes for about 10 - 15 minutes.
-apply a eye cream that contains Vitamin K - Brand you can use is : 100% Pure organic coffee bean caffeine eye cream ( the caffeine helps the eye area to appear tighter- if you want more info.. please email me again and I'll give you more details
- A nice eyegel you can use is Biore's Enliven Cooling gel that you can purchase from Walmart.
Suggested eyecreams are for reducing the look of dark circles, suggested eyegels are to relieve the eyebags ( also if they are puffy )

I would love to hear your feedback as I take my skin care advise seriously.
Please email me again with any other questions or just to tell me that you are smiling widely again.

Warmly
Elaine
