Why is it Hard to Find a Stylist for Permed & Highlighted Hair?

I've had my hair both permed and blonde highlights for 30 years but for the past five years it's hard to find someone to do it. Why? Isn't it because these environmental nut cases say so? This combination has been a beautiful mixture for me. Now that my hair highlights itself, I need a little blonde coloring to blend it so the grey doesn't standout. However, I can't find a salon to do it.

 I don't think the issue is environmental nuts. Unfortunately, many stylists now have limited perming experience, so are reluctant to perm highlighted hair due to lack of experience. You need to find a good stylist who'e been doing it a while and knows how to do it. There are still plenty of us out there.
