QuestionHey Claire, recently traveled to Italy and broke my hair straightener due to the voltage difference in the walls.. I've been looking online at new ones and I was just wondering if you could list me off some high quality but not too costly hair straighteners? My price range would be anything around $100. So far from friends they've recommended CHi and Ghd, how do you feel about those? Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you soon!
AnswerHi there Brianna, thanks for your question.
Eek! Blowing electrical items up is the sort of thing I'd do but I'm so jealous of your holiday in Italy. It sounds amazing!
I've looked at my hair straiteners but, would you believe it, they don't say anywhere on them what make they are.
I agree with your friends that Ghd are the best known and most recommended on the market but they are also in the pricier bracket. Two others I'd recommend are Tresemme and Babyliss. They are both reasonably priced and are good reliable products.
The only other suggestion I have is to check out EBay. I know it's a bit of a gamble but you might be able to grab yourself a bargain.
Please remember to use a serum or hair oil to protect your hair from the heat though. As well as protecting your hair, it also helps to bring out a lovely gloss.
I hope that helps,
Take care and good luck in finding something that works for you.
