We have seen many revolutions in the field of nail art. We have seen stamping, use of fimo canes, Free hand designs, use of rhinestones, Stickers, Water decals, tattoos and what not! Now a new trend has hit the world of nail fashion. It is none other than Lace Manicure.
Lace Manicure has become quite a rage in recent times. Celebs are also sporting it. Especially this is gaining much popularity among teens and youth. Guess what, it is really not that difficult to get a lace manicure done at home at your own comfort. So today we will show you how to do an easy lace french manicure.
Lace Manicure Tutorial
1. A piece of lace:
You can easily get this from your local tailor’s shop or cut it out from any old lace lingerie that you might be having. Make sure that it doesn’t contain too many floral designs. You will mostly need the mesh/net part of this lace. You can also choose from a variety of colours, like white, black, purple, green, red, etc. as per your choice. We are using a piece of black lace. Another thing to remember is to make sure it is free from starch. If it is very hard, then it will be difficult to stick it on to your nails. You can wash this piece of lace in warm detergent water 2-3 times or keep it soaked for 2-3 hours, then wash and dry it to get it rid of starch.

4. A base colour –We are using Colorama Artistica Amarelo Sol (Yellow base paint for a bold colour combination)
5. Top Coat-We are using Elle18 Transparent Top Coat
6. A Tweezers
If there are any designs on the lace, cut and separate them. You may also use them and this depends completely on your choice. We are using just the mesh part.
Wrap the lace around your nails and cut into small pieces accordingly.
Shape your nails accordingly and apply a base coat. Next apply the base paint. Let it dry.
Apply one layer of top coat. Immediately, take the pieces you have cut from the lace with the help of tweezers.
Stick the pieces of lace onto one nail at a time. Press the sides and adjust firmly.
If adjustments are required or your nail length is not covered, then use another piece of lace on top. Cut that following your nail’s shape. Cut excess off. Tuck in with the help of tweezers.
Cover all nails with lace like above.
