Let’s learn the steps to create the plum and bronze eye makeup look:
Apply a concealer to hide your dark circles and create an even base for your eye makeup. Set it with compact powder as it will avoid budging and creasing of the concealer. Then, apply your favorite eyeshadow base or eye primer to make your eyeshadows appear vibrant and last longer. Here, I used the Elf eyeshadow primer. Then, apply a matte dark plum eyeshadow to the crease area of your eyes. This color will act as a transition color in the eye makeup and also create a smokey look. Here, I used the Elf eyeshadow palette in Day on the Beach for the plum eyeshadow.
Then, pick a satin deep purplish plum eyeshadow and define your crease area. This eyeshadow can overlap with the plum eyeshadow applied in the previous step. Here, I used a purple eyeshadow from the Lakme Tanjore Rush eyeshadow palette.
Apply a shimmery cream base to the center of your eyelid. This step will add dimension and brighter effect to your eyelids. I used a creamy golden base from Kryolan for this step. Start by applying the base with your fingers and spread it evenly all over the eyelids.
Wet your eyeshadow brush slightly with plain water or a makeup finishing spray and take a bronze eyeshadow. Using damp brushes help in intensifying the color of the eyeshadows and make them pop effortlessly. Pat the eyeshadow all over the moving lid area just above the creamy base applied in the previous step. Here, I used the Lakme eyeshadow palette in Dessert Rose for the bronze eyeshadow.
Then, apply a soft pinkish plum to the crease socket of your eyes to further define the crease. This step will also remove any harsh edges in the eye makeup. Here, I used a pink plum matte eyeshadow from the Elf 144 eyeshadow palette. Apply the same bronze eyeshadow color to the center of the lower lash line and the deep purplish plum eyeshadow to the two thirds of the lower lash line. Then, pick a matte black eyeshadow and apply it to the outermost corner of your eyes to create a smokey effect. Here, I used the Oriflame Marcel eyeshadow palette for the matte black eyeshadow. Then, pick a shimmery pale highlighter eyeshadow and apply it to the inner tear duct area and the brow bone. This step will give a lifted effect to your eyes. I used the Revlon eyeshadow in Sand to highlight.
Line your eyes to define your eyes. Here, I wanted to create a slightly dramatic eye liner look, so I extended the eyeliner into a wing shape. I used the Kryolan black liquid eyeliner for this step. Then, apply lots of mascara to complete the eye makeup look. Here, I used the Loreal Million Lashes mascara for this step.
No matter the occasion, this look will surely get you attention! You too can now make heads turn with five simple steps. So, what are you waiting for? Go for it!
