Making your own air freshener spray allows you to use the fragrances you would like. You can also control how it is made. You can use a basic air freshener base with your choice of fragrant oil to create your own spray. You can save yourself money from buying commercial air fresheners and start making your own at home.
Fill your measuring cup with 10 ounces of air freshener base. Place your funnel into your mixing bottle. Pour the air freshener base into the mixing bottle. Rinse out your measuring cup and funnel in the sink with cold water.
Fill your measuring cup to 1.5 to 2 ounces of fragrance oil. Insert your funnel into your mixing bottle and pour the fragrance oil into the bottle.
Screw mixing bottle cap on securely and shake the mixing bottle for about 30 seconds.
Insert your funnel into your filler bottle. Unscrew the cap from the mixer bottle and pour the air freshener solution in the funnel down into the filler bottle. Insert sprayer nozzle down into spray bottle and tighten.
