my friend weighs ALO, in the 200s. In order to get to 180 (so he can join the army reserves) he has around 1 yr to lose 70 lbs. Any ideas?

   I would recommend that he check out www.mypyramid.gov where he can create a healthy eating plan tailored to his calorie needs. He just has to enter his age, gender, and activity level. I would also recommend 30-60 minutes of exercise daily such as bikeriding, swimming, walking, jogging, and weightlifting.
