Questionany difference between toasted bread and bread that's not toasted? in terms of their calorific value and which is healthier?

Toasted bread has higher energy density (more calories in 1 oz.) so, theoretically, one can expect it'll give you more calories before you're full. Also, the difference can be in your preference: if you like fresh bread better, you'll eat more of it. That's about it, calorie wise.
