Navigating an IgG Food Sensitivity Test: A Guide to Avoiding Trigger Foods

Question
Hello, I just had an IgG Food Profile done at my doctors office. The Reactivity Summary says I should avoid Bananas, Casein, Milk, Pinnapple, whey and yogurt. I'm having a hard time not knowing what to and what not to eat! Seems eveything has Whey in it and milk in it too. I eat bread everyday, but all breads have Whey! Any suggestions on breads and foods to avoid?

Thank You,
Sabrina

Answer
Sabrina,

Living with whey allergies is definitely tough. I have some good friends with the same issues.

I don't really know what to tell you other than to just be very careful because it is well worth it. You will feel so much better when you cut these things out of your diet that are making you feel so sick all the time.

This is not really my area of expertise, but many others have already walked down that road. I know there are some good recipe and other books on the subject and I would encourage you to do a little of your own research.

You can get a lot of information by simply visiting amazon.com, searching for books and paying attention to the 'customer reviews'. You can browse the table of contents and excerpts right on the site and find an appropriate information source.

Sorry I could not be of more help on this.

I wish you the best.
