Am Hispanic male diabetic type II, since age 40, now 60. My BP keeps going up and my Dr. keeps increasing my meds. What foods can I cut out to reduce my BP and loss weight? At the same time reduce my medication.

Hi Fred,

It is all about balancing your nutrition. As a person who is diabetic you must watch your sugar balance through the day.

Each meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) should consist of protein and complex carbs. Protein is from lean meat/fish/chicken/eggs/soy. Complex carbs are from veg/nuts and seeds/wholegrains.
Also you should be drinking 6-8 glasses of water and avoiding fried foods and sugary foods. This means only a few fruit a day.

If you find this all too complex you can go straight for the nutrition meal shakes like the ones I use (see my site below).

These provide the best balance and without the preparation or cooking.
I have had great success helping diabetics reduce their medication and control weight.
