Answer
Hello Saima!

Please, do not worry. Your jewelry will be just fine. The surface of silver jewelry oxidizes very easy- it reacts to oxygen by forming a black-colored tarnish. This can also affect the the surface of the gold. But rest assured that nothing will occur other than some simple surface discoloration. The jewelry can be easily restored to new using a buffing cloth, or you can take it to a jeweler to have it buffed if that is necessary. Don't worry about permanent damage- there won't be any.
