Waterbirth Explained: Benefits, Process & Comparison to VBAC
QuestionPlease explain?
AnswerA waterbirth is a type of delivery where we perform a vaginal delivery in water, usually in a tub of water, but sometimes in a stream. The baby actually floats out through the water, cleans itself off as it floats out and, I've seen it smile. In the LeBoyer method of delivery, a tub of water is used where we place the baby immediately in a tub of warm water upon delivery. I have never heard of VAB or do not know what you are referring to. A VBAC (Vaginal birth after cesarean) is merely a vaginal delivery of a woman who has previously had a cesarean section. If you will let me know what you are referring to, I can comment.
