Progesterone Suppository Timing After IVF Transfer: What You Need to Know

I had IVF transfer of fertilized egg on 8/22 in the morning and I used progesterone suppository that night according to the scheduled calendar that was give to my by the clinic. However I received a call later to start the progesterone suppository 1 day after the transfer. I am worried, Will that affect the embryos that were transfered?

Hello,

Most doctors have you start progesterone right after the transfer but it can vary.  I don't think you need to worry, but I would call and ask the nurse if there are any issues with this and why the change in protocol.  This will likely ease your mind.
