Lye Soap & Pregnancy: Safety Concerns & Expert Advice

Can you use lye soap while pregnant?I am trying to keep as natural as possible.

Hello Abi from Malta,

I am not a chemist so cannot answer that question.  However, lye is pretty caustic and toxic so I would not recommend using it even if you were not pregnant.
