Understanding Age-Related Muscle Loss and Testosterone Decline

Question
Hello
I was wondering if you ever read anything about aging, and the decline of testerone in the human body. I understand we have been around for thousands of years, so we must have developed a really good reason for the gradual testerone in our bodies; which results in a gradual weakness of strength in the human body. I was wondering WHY we slowly loose our strength, as we get older? Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

Answer
it is much more complicated than simply the decline of testosterone.... many of our cells have "timers" on them and they change, decay with age....some we can keep in fairly good condition, others we cannot.... keep exercising, but there is no magic fountain of youth with testosterone or other hormone modulators.  (That we have found yet)
