Hello, Elayne.
I liked your suggestion regarding X and Ys where X swim slow and Y swim faster. I've head that temperature plays role in girl/boy odds as well. But this is some to play by a couple who can get pregnant.
I live in NY. There are many clinics that provide vitro fertilization procedure. How do you find a center clinic that specializes on vitro? As an analogy, one needs a hip/knee replacement, he goes to the Hospital of Joint Disease that specializes on hip and knee.

I would suggest starting with your current family doctor and OB/GYN and asking for recommendations.  You could also ask around family and friends, to see if anybody else has needed this service and can recommend somebody.  When seeking out a fertility clinic, make sure to ask about their success rates, and especially their rates of multiple births.
