Understanding Radiation Therapy After Lumpectomy: A Patient's Concerns

i had lumpectomy on 4-30-09, invasive poorly diff. ductal, 2.2cm grade III. 0 lymph nodes, er/pr+. PAC placed on 6-10-09 for chemo.  OncotypeDX result came in on 6-11-09 w/recurrence score of 17. Chemo cancelled due to this result.  Radiation consult 6-25-09 w/ CT and tatoo's.  However, i was told it would be approx 10 days for mapping etc before radiation would start.  I am concerned as it is now just past 8 weeks and no actually treatment as started.

Why? It is of course important that your treatment starts as soon as possible! Demand that they speed up the procedure and do not be too polite about it! Demand to be treated as soon as possible! I let you yourself evaluate if you think it is a good idea or not to threaten to sue them for perhaps putting you in danger by delaying the process.
