Non-Hormonal Birth Control Options: A Safe & Effective Guide

I am 24 years old. I have heard IUD's can cause infection in your uterus. I can't take horomonal birth control because I get TOO emotional and I have "sexual issues". What is best for me? I have two children (ages 29mo and 9wks) and I want 1 more but not for at least 2 years. I want to be able to get pregnant easily when the time comes. Thanks :)

I would recommend that you learn NFP.  It is totally safe and effective, doesn't raise any bad "sexual issues" and helps you to keep healthy and know your body and your fertility so when you want to get pregnant again, you will know what is going on with your body.  NFP can be learned from a book or from a teaching couple who helps people learn it in a class.  You can find information from this website:  www.ccli.org

You are wise to avoid artificial hormones and IUD's can certainly cause problems such as infection among other things.
