Birth Control Effectiveness & Potential Pregnancy After Starting a New Pill

I've been taking Avaine Birthcontrol for two weeks, I think I might be pregnant because on the fifth day that I was on the birth control and had unprotected sex and then read the pamplet and it says I should of used a back up method for the first seven days? DOes this mean I am possibly pregnant?

Thanks for sending me your question. It is possible that you are pregnant. I have heard that you're supposed to use a back up method when first starting the pill. I don't recommend the pill because of the hormones, risks and side effects. If you want to try to find a free testing center, go to http://www.optionline.org
