Switching from 28-Day to 21-Day Birth Control Pack: What You Need to Know

Hi there, am Doreen and i have been taking the 28 days pack and now am changing to the 21 days pack, should i wait for my next period to start or i can start the 21 pack as soon as i finish the iron/sugar pills, just as regularly as i have been taking the 28 one?

Hi Doreen,

Thanks for your question. I don't recommend any kind of hormonal birth control which includes the pill.
