QuestionHi I had an abortion Nov. 18 and had sex 12 days after that. I went to the doctor Monday, 3 weeks after my abortion and my hcg levels were at 41. Is that normal or is this the start of a new pregnancy? Im supposed to be getting my period soon but doctors said my levels need to be at 0.

Please ask your doctor about this situation. I'm surprised he or she didn't explain this to you. I'm not a medical professional. In the article it said that over 25 was a pregnancy. But I have read in the past that your hormonal levels can still be up in your body after an abortion. So I really can't say. Let me know if you have your period.
