QuestionI recently had to have two abortions due to unfortunate events I could not control. One was July 20, 2010 and the other one was October 27, 2010. Since they were within 4 months of each other am I at high risk if I try to conceive again? When would it be safe for me to try to conceive again?
AnswerYou must be sure that you want to continue the pregnancy first. Conceiving again and then terminating is not good for you physically or emotionally. That said, you can conceive at anytime. Abortion does not affect ovulation.
It is obvious that you ovulate normally. As I have said before, make sure you are taking Folic Acid 1 mg daily and are physically and mentally ready.
