Anatomy & Physiology Books for Massage Therapists: A Guide

Question
yes, I'm a massage therapist and I was just wondering should I be reading a regular anatomy and physiology book or should I read one that's for massage therapists. If you could please let me know if it even makes a difference and if you could give me a name of a good book.

Answer
Dear Adrianne,

It all depends on what kind of information you are looking for.
I'll recommend some books that I use for reference.

Human Anatomy & Physiology by Elaine Marieb is a great source for just A&P.

Trail Guide to the Body: How to Locate Muscles, Bones, and More by Andrew R. Biel and Robin Dorn

Basic Clinical Massage Therapy: Integrating Anatomy and Treatment by James H Clay and David M Pounds

Hope this helps you out. Happy Reading!
