QuestionI would like to ask whether massage has a long-term good effect on your health, or whether it is just an illusion and a waste of money.
It is obvious that you would feel relaxed during a massage (whether it is a facial, a body massage or any other type).
But does it have a long-term effect? For example, I am concerned about my face. If I have regular facial massage, does it help maintain my skin?
My sincere thanks,
AnswerWell as Massage therapist I do recommend massage as a routine to keep your body healthy. Although it all depends on who you go get your massage from, there are to many people that say they are good but in fact they are not. It is hard to find the one your body needs but just don't loose sight just because some one gave you a bad massage. Just keep looking until you do find a real Massage therapist that can work on your body. Now is it good for your face? I say yes I know of some one that gets Facial massage all the time and she looks so much younger than her real age. Maybe its because the more you stress in your face the more you can cause nerves and muscles to shift and that can cause pain or even age faster.
Having a massage weekly can assure that your body can stay healthy in a way, but! this is only to help.Have a massage can help many problems, the best thing to do is ask you therapist what he has seen and fixed or helped in his life time? Massage can not fix bad eating habits or not working out. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.
