Acrylic System Not Setting? Troubleshooting Tips for Technicians

I have been a technician for 5 years i HAVE STOPPED working on acrylic for 3 years when they changed the monomer but have taken it back up under popular demand.. my problem is when I do the process of the acrylic system it does not set and when I go to file it the acrylic flakes or rolls off with the file

This usually happens when the mix is still to wet, it does not dry to solid and when you go to file or buff it rolls up like plastic,  make sure you are using the same brand of liquid and powder, do not mix different companies products together, and make sure your ball is not to wet, also if the room is to cold or your client has cold fingers, this affects the drying and setting process.
