I can answer your question very quickly "No" LED produces UV but it may not cure properly, the CND light is specifically designed to work "only" with CND Shellac, if you are a licensed nail technician you know how important it is to always use all of a systems products together for a system to function properly, if you are not a licensed nail technician and you have gotten Shellac, you can do what ever you want with a product you purchase, CND certifies all salons that are using the product so errors do not occur. Good luck what ever you decide to do. If you do have issues I recommend you go to a certified salon that does Shellac.
