Understanding Skin Lightening & Hyperpigmentation: A Comprehensive Guide

Hi. I was wondering if you knew anything about lightening the skin. I am Chinese and have tanish skin ( partly due to my natural skin tone and partly due to some sun exposure) I wear spf 30 everyday.
I've read about hyperpigmentation and creams that care for it. Now I've heard about Skin Ceuticals products (the lightening creams) and they say that they're for the hyperpigmentation. I was wondering if you'd think these even lighten my skin even though i don't have much of hyperpigmentation. Any advice on what i should do about bleaching/lightening skin?

Shisedo has a few great lines of skin lightners that I would recommend. I am not familiar with the lightning creams that Skin Ceuticals carries. To answer your question regarding will it work with your skin tone. If you have some color to your skin as you stated the skin lightners will "bleach the skin" and your complexion will appear lighter and more even toned all over.
