So can you please help me with this problem thank you for your time~Lexi
AnswerHello Lexi,
I do not know any ready-to-use product which would really work on blackheads, but I can give you recipes you can make yourself and use at home.
Blackheads come from a overfunction of some skin glands (seborrheic glands) which produce sebum that gets clogged in the pores. Internally, you are going through the teenage hormonal storm, which has profound effects not only on your mind, but also on your body and here your skin. But I can assure you that by following a few skin care and lifestyle recommendations, you can fix this problem.
To address the deep problem, I recommend you to do a thorough detox and very rigorously clean-up your diet. This means avoid any type of pro-inflammation food like coffee, alcohol, chocolate, sweet and high carbs foods and greatly reduce dairy and meat consumption. Stay away from cigarettes and recreational drugs :). Eat lots of greens, fruits and veggies and drink water and/or green tea. If you want, here is an article about detox:

Or you can read this book:

It may sound like a lot to do just to resolve a blackheads problem, but trust me on this: taking care of yourself now is the best way to make sure that you're going to enjoy happily and healthily the rest of your life. And for now, not only the blackheads should disappear, but you will avoid the acne teenage curse.
To address the superficial problem you can do this:
- steam your face with hot water and lavender essential oil. Find the protocol for the facial steaming here:
http://www.naturepurity.com/holistic/home_spa_fall_skin.html
- if the blackheads are loose, gently squeeze, taking care not to damage your skin
- apply a mask made of Green Clay powder and water or Lavender Floral Water. Leave on for 20 min, not letting the mask dry.
- clean with water and apply a moisturizer (which should be as natural as possible as some chemicals might also be responsible for clogging your pores)
Do the Green Clay mask twice to three times a week until your skin improves.
You can read more about it here:

I would also recommend you to exfoliate twice a week at least, with a gentle exfoliant, nothing abrasive.
Avoid chemical skin care on the affected areas until the problem is cleared.
If you have time and willingness to go the extra mile, you may also use the following secret potion (From Valerie Ann Worwood):
mix altogether:
- 4 tablespoons of Argan or Jojoba oil
- 5 drops violet leaf essential oil (EO)
- 5 drops lemongrass eo
- 2 drops lavender eo
- 2 drops clary-sage eo
- 5 drops thyme linalol eo
Massage morning and evenings.
I hope you find this answer helpful.
Have a beautiful day,
Take good care
