Turquoise Eye Makeup: 3 Stunning Looks for This Season

Like short dresses, killer gladiators, and bright lips, turquoise shade is practically a must-have this season. And there’s no better way to add a hint of aqua hue on your lashline than this laidback season. Ahead, we get you three crazy-gorgeous makeup look to unpack. They’re far from simple and yet doable, and that’s something we love.

Read on to learn how to create a shimmery turquoise eye makeup look.

Full Dramatic:

This turquoise makeup is one of the edgier looks we’ve seen and loved it ever since, which is why it’s perfect for your night out.

Prep Accordingly:

  1. Tap a good amount of Burberry Sheer Luminous Concealer to counteract the blemishes. Apply a power-packed Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Make-up for a supple look. Blend a good blusher, like Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush to achieve a natural looking skin.
  1. Prep your eyes with NYX Cosmetics HD Eye Shadow Base, a perfect primer for securing your eye shadow all day long and then top off with Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder.
  1. Apply a white base, like Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Glacier, all over the lid up till the socket and lower lashline.
  1. Apply the translucent powder to set the creamy eye shadow. Along the eyelid, in the outer edges and lower lashline, blend a turquoise hue like Annabelle Single Eyeshadow in Turquoise with the M.A.C 219 Pencil Brush.
  1. Wing the turquoise shade softly to give the eye a smokey effect. Then clean up the excess with Kleenex.
  1. Use BASICARE Eyebrow And Eye Lash Brush to define and groom the brows. Apply falsies such as ModelCo Fibre Lash Brush on False Lashes and finish the look with a double coat of Telescopic by L’Oreal Paris mascara on upper and lower lashes.
  1. To complement the bold turquoise eye shadow, opt for neutral color for the lips – pink. We prefer our favourite Nars Audacious in Brigitte.

Expressionist Eyes:

It is very rare that someone can manage to make turquoise glitter eye makeup look sophisticated. Which means you can, too.

So to attain the dramatic and perfect expressionist eyes, repeat your face makeup as normal. Then apply a good amount of Urban Decay Sin Primer Potion to your eyes. Now use a blender brush and set the primer with a translucent powder.

Once done with applying, take a fluffier brush and sweep MAC Deep Sea Turquoise in a gentle, circular motion on your eyelids. Ensure you blend the shade outward along the lashline to the crease. Now take a red eye pencil and flick it in the water line of the lower lid evenly (You can skip this if you think it’s too over the top.) Finish off your look by curling your lashes and wriggle two coats of mascara on both the top and bottom eyelashes.

Lovely Lower-Lid:

While it is a fact that makeup at fashion shows is usually stunning, it is not typically wearable. So, when we saw this aqua lower-lid lining look – we fell in love with it ever since. For an accessible and easy-to-accomplish look, just rim the eyes, dab on some warm peach lipstick (we like Nars Matte Multiple in Exumas), highlight the brow bone with a black shadow, and you’re all set.

To line your lower waterline, gently stroke a creamy and long-lasting pencil, like Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes In Light Turquiose Sheen on the outer section and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils In White on the inner section of your waterline.

Tip: You can avoid the white pencil if you want, but if you wish to make your eyes pop go for it.

So there you have it – turquoise eye makeup. Check them out and let us know in the comments below if you think this is a trick worth trying.
