Le Creuset offers a line of steel, enameled cast iron and stoneware pots designed to provide even heat conduction, whether they're used on a stovetop or in the oven. Regardless of the material, Le Creuset pots do not require any special products for cleaning beyond hot water and dish soap.
Empty any leftover food from the pot into a container or the trash.
Rinse the cooled pot with hot water. Apply a few drops of dish soap and fill the pot with hot water. Allow it to soak for 10 to 15 minutes for stuck-on food residue.
Scrub the inside of the Le Creuset pot with a nonabrasive pad. Scrub the outside of the pot and the handles if necessary.
Rinse the Le Creuset pot with clean water and dry it thoroughly with a towel.
